Dunn County Fair

The Dunn County Fair has roots that stretch back to 1872, when the Dunn County Agricultural Society was formed and held its inaugural fair. After a period of suspension due to transportation challenges, a new Agricultural Society was established on June 19, 1885, when 44 farmers signed a constitution. The fair has since grown into a beloved annual tradition held in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Its guiding mission has always been to serve the community rather than turn a profit.

Today, the Dunn County Fair brings the community together with live entertainment, grandstand events, carnival rides, great food, and exhibits from youth and adult participants alike. Overseen by a Fair Board appointed by the Dunn County Board of Supervisors, the board is composed of one County Supervisor and a minimum of seven citizen members, all working to keep this generations-long tradition alive and thriving each summer.
