The sounds of oompah bands and klinking steins will ring Saturday, September 25 during Baraboo Oktoberfest!

The Baraboo Area will welcome crowds of visitors eager to raise a glass to Bavarian culture. Polka bands will entertain as revelers sample Oktoberfest beers and oversized pretzels. And that’s just the beginning of the fun: Don’t be shy about trying your hand at the hammerschlagen. If you don’t nail it, you can always show your strength in the masskrugstemmen stein holding contest.

While the Baraboo Oktoberfest will be based at Al. Ringling Brewing, this will be a community-wide festival. Last year’s inaugural event included an Oktoberfest pub crawl, with several nearby bars and restaurants offering specials on food and Oktoberfest beers and cocktails.
