The Blue Hills Bar-B-Q Fest is a 2-day sanctioned barbeque festival kicking off the summer season in Barron County. It features national and local Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned grilling teams competing for state championship points and cash prizes. The public is invited to watch the competition as they enjoy barbequed food prepared by local restaurants and caterers as well as local brews and refreshments, live music, games and competitions, vendor booths, and family events throughout the two days. This event is the first weekend of the Rice Lake Aqua Fest and travelers are encouraged to stay and also enjoy the week-long celebration of the Aqua Fest in beautiful Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
