The 16th annual Oktoberfest returns to Historic Cedarburg, offering a traditional celebration under a large tent at the Community Center Parking Lot. Attendees can enjoy live bands and dancers, including performances by the Pommersche Tanzdeel and River City Blaskepelle.
Foxtown Brewing’s bier garten on the City Hall lawn will serve Oktoberfest brews accompanied by live music from Bridge Road. The whimsical Glockenspiel Show, which will appear every two hours, promises entertainment for all.
Festival-goers can participate in contests like Oktoberfest Trivia, Best Lederhosen/Dirndl, and Beer Stein Holding. New contests this year include Best Braids and Pretzel Eating. Hammerschlaagen and the Milwaukee Porsche Club showcase on Sunday offer additional activities.
The expanded marketplace will feature German dinners, bratwursts, and authentic treats. Cedarburg High School students will provide arts and crafts activities to fundraise for their GAPP exchange trip.
Visitors can also stroll along Washington Avenue, taking in Cedarburg’s historic charm with its unique shops and restaurants. Established in the 1840s, the town boasts over 100 historic buildings.
Please note: No pets or carry-ins are allowed. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed on-site. The event will be held rain or shine.
