Ferdinand

A modern performance adaptation of the classic children’s tale, "Ferdinand the Bull," by Munro Leaf. A quiet young bull who just wants to smell the meadow flowers catches the eye of a scouting bullfighter, and finds himself in the arena. As the young bull faces pressure to be different than he is, he strives to discover who he truly wants to be, within a world that may hold dangers for him. Originally set during the rise of Spanish fascism, this 1 hour show features live storytelling in Spanish and English by Martin Alvarado as Narrator, with danced performance scenes from Tanya Tandias, Raka Bandyo, Christopher Coffman, Michael Tredupp and Amy Owen.
