About this Event
Fox of the River Voyager Canoe Trip at Mirror Lake State Park. Join the Friends of Mirror Lake for a truly hands-on experience in history and camaraderie, exploring the fur trade era and the lives of its most colorful participants, the Voyageurs.
You’ll be able to paddle a 28-foot Voyageur canoe and learn about the Voyageur way of life. You will enter the past with Jean-Paul Pauquette and Jacques Largillier as your guides. This program is excellent for all ages.
Drop-in between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on either Friday or Saturday. Free but valid park sticker required to enter park. Mirror Lake State Park, E10320 Fern Dell Rd, Baraboo. Meet at the beach.
