About this Event
This free day at the Milwaukee Art Museum celebrates the people, stories and creative traditions that shape the region. Visitors can explore hands-on art activities led by local organizations and artists, shop handmade gifts from local makers at the holiday market and enjoy story time, live music and a student orchestra performance. Animated short films from PBS Wisconsin highlight everyday life, families, artists and educators across the state. The day also features a gallery talk on George Morrison’s Landscape and an annual art show showcasing work by local youth, with this year’s theme focusing on identity, belonging and the influence of home. From creative workshops to cultural storytelling, there are plenty of ways to experience art, discover local talent and connect with the people and traditions that make the region unique.
