They went looking for ghosts. They traveled to the underworld, crossed the River Styx, and even got acquainted with Hades and Cerberus. And apparently, something followed them home.

The Gothic History Tour returns to Cedarburg this fall with its most mysterious - and possibly most unexpected - chapter yet: “Guess What Followed Us Home.” The Tour went straight to the source, venturing into Hades and cruising the River Styx in search of some of the creepiest ghost stories imaginable. Now, those stories have made their way back to Cedarburg.

Join the Gothic History Tour as it skulks through the streets of Cedarburg, uncovering tales of ghosts, legends, strange happenings, and unexplained encounters from some of the most unexpected places.

Because Gothic History Tour isn't really about fear. It’s about courage.

Or, at the very least, looking brave while running in place like a cartoon character. This year’s tour promises new stories, new surprises and plenty of reasons to wonder what - or who - might be lurking just around the corner.

The Gothic History Tour is presented by the Cedarburg Cultural Center and combines Cedarburg history with the supernatural, the unusual and the downright creepy. Whether you're a longtime fan or brave enough to join for the first time, this year's tour promises to be the best one yet.
