Foodways Program: Dairy Days at Wade House

Celebrate National Dairy Month with hands-on activities that commemorate Wisconsin’s important dairy history, including hand-cranking ice cream maker, hand-churning butter, and more! The kitchens will be busy as staff and guests take turns working dashes and cranks until their arms get weary. Guests will be rewarded for their hard work with a sample of the dairy products that they helped to make. In addition to making butter and ice cream, Wade House staff will also demonstrate the craft of cheese making.
