Forts Folle Avoine Opening Weekend, Spring Encampment and Plant Sale

Opening Weekend activities include the always popular Plant Sale. Locally grown plants are offered, including native prairie plants, herbs, hostas, heirloom varieties, ground cover plants and an array of perennials and annuals. Museums and Gift Shop are open. Explore the Spring Encampment. Period-dressed guides conduct walking tours of the reconstructed Fur Trading Posts and the Ojibwe village. This is the only known site in North America where two competing fur trade companies established side-by-side fur trade posts. Admission: $10 adults, $6 children 5-15, free for children 4 and under, $28 family with 2 children, $8 seniors, students, and military (active and veterans), ID is required.Wild Rice Pancake Breakfast, Sunday, 8am – 12:30pm; $8 adults and children 13 and older, $4 children (6-12), free for children 5 and younger. Enjoy Wild Rice Pancakes, sausage, eggs and beverages.
