Oldest food festival in the Midwest – honoring cheesemaking, dairy farming, and the Swiss traditions that are deeply rooted in the heritage of this region. For more than 100 years, this celebration has attracted crowds of revelers ready to yodel, polka, and consume cheese by the truckload. Attendance of more than 100,000 people – including regional, national, and international visitors. Cheese Days Chase on Saturday, Big Cheese Tent, Old Time Copper Kettle Cheesemaking demonstration, Cow Milking contest, Family Farm Adventure for Kids, Dairy Farm Tours, Barn Quilt Tours, Three entertainment stages, "Taste of Green County" Food Booths (local specialties like deep fried cheese curds, cream puffs, and cheesecake on-a-stick), Beer Garden featuring local brews, Arts & Crafts Fair, carnival, vintage tractor show, Children’s Parade, Huge Parade on Sunday – “The Swiss Colony Cheese Days Parade” – led by herd of decorated Brown Swiss cattle. New in 2016: Food Cart Street.
