The Point Basse Pioneer Festival is the premier event at Historic Point Basse. Visit the site and participate in the activities of the day. Be a judge in the Iron Chef cooking contest. Purchase a bowl for $5.00 and then sample each chef’s entry. Judge which one is the best and then take the bowl home as a souvenir.
At the Point Basse Pioneer Festival, various demonstrators and crafters will be at the site. Re-enactors, craftsmen, and entertainers of the period mingle with the crowds.
The cost is $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per student.
