The Way We Worked - A Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition
July 17, 2021 - October 9, 2021
Join us in welcoming The Way We Worked, a Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit, to Sheboygan County.
The Way We Worked explores how work became such a central element in American culture by tracing the many changes that affected the workforce and work environments over the past 150 years. The diversity of the American workforce is one of its strengths, providing an opportunity to explore how people of all races and ethnicities identified commonalities and worked to knock down barriers in the professional world. The exhibition shows how we identify with work—as individuals and as communities.
The exhibit will also include snapshots of how Sheboygan County has experienced work over the years.
The exhibit is included with regular Museum admission - $9 Adults, $7 Seniors (62+), $5 Ages 6 - 17, Free Ages 5 & under, Free Museum Members. Museum hours are Monday - Friday, 10am - 5pm and Saturday, 10am - 3pm.
The Way We Worked, an exhibition created by the National Archives, is adapted for travel by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and made possible with the generous support of the United States Congress. Additional local support provided by Kohler Foundation, Inc.
