Wade House Civil War Weekend
September 26, 2020 - September 27, 2020
The smell of gunpowder, the roar of cannon fire, and the rumble of a cavalry charge fill the air at Wade House. Guests will experience the largest Civil War reenactment in the state of Wisconsin, including a hands-on look at 19th-century battles, military drills, medical care situations, period music, food, demonstrations, educational presentations, and more. In a scene reminiscent of what took place during the historic conflict, cavalry, artillery, and infantry representing both sides of the war will conduct demonstrations at 11:00 a.m. on both days, followed by a full-scale battle at 2:00 p.m.
This is a featured program included with general admission. Members are admitted for FREE!
