IKEA Family Kite Festival

The IKEA Family Kite Festival returns to Milwaukee’s lakefront for its 39th year, bringing two days of colorful kite flying, family activities, and entertainment to Veterans Park. Visitors can enjoy large scale kite displays filling the sky, professional flying performances from internationally recognized teams, and fun activities for kids throughout the weekend. The festival also features kite flying demonstrations, lessons, food and refreshments, and plenty of space to relax along the lakefront.

Free to attend and family friendly, this long running Milwaukee tradition is a celebration of spring, community, and outdoor fun on the waterfront.
