IKEA Frank Mots International Kite Festival

Experience one of Milwaukee’s most colorful lakefront traditions at the IKEA Frank Mots International Kite Festival. Watch more than 600 kites fill the sky during the spectacular Grand Launch at noon each day, along with impressive precision flying, giant kites and performances from nationally recognized kite teams and performers. The weekend also includes free kite-flying lessons, kids activities and plenty of food and kites available for purchase. The festival is free to attend, with free parking available.
