Manitowoc County Historical Society Spring Opening Weekend

Step into the turn of the 20th century! At the Manitowoc County Historical Society Spring Opening Weekend, you’ll be able to chat with knowledgeable costumed interpreters who keep the stories of our past alive. You’ll hear the clanging of the blacksmith’s hammer, smell the aroma of fresh-baked treats, and truly experience life in the 19th century. Interpreters, including cooks and craftspeople, will be demonstrating their talents. Visitors can also see baby farm animals, take a wagon ride around the site grounds, and step into the busy Sorenson House kitchen.
