Voted 2025 #1 Rising Star Male Vocalist by DownBeat Magazine, Los Angeles-based singer and composer Michael Mayo brings a heartfelt, boundary-pushing sound that blends jazz, neo-soul, and R&B. Known for his layered harmonies, dynamic beatboxing, and expressive vocals, Mayo has performed with artists including Kneebody, Jacob Collier, Christian Sands, Josh Groban, Nate Smith, and Herbie Hancock.

Raised in a musical family and trained at the New England Conservatory of Music and the Thelonius Monk Institute of Jazz at UCLA, Mayo combines technical mastery with raw emotion in every performance. His debut album "Bones" (2021) and sophomore release "Fly" (2024) showcase his innovative vocal approach.
