North Hudson Pepper Festival 2026

During the third week of August each year, North Hudson celebrates its Italian heritage with this unique event featuring a parade, carnival, homemade Italian cuisine, spaghetti and hot pepper-eating contests, music, bingo, 5K and 10K runs, and the coronation of its Royal Court.

Originally created in the 1950s as a fundraiser to construct North Hudson Elementary, this event has grown to support not only the school, but also several other local nonprofit organizations and charitable causes in the community.
