A cooperative effort by leading waterfowl organizations including Wisconsin Waterfowl Association, Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, Wisconsin Wildlife Federation and the WI DNR have together joined forces to bring this “one-of- a- kind” outdoor extravaganza designed specifically for today’s waterfowling enthusiast. A family & dog-friendly event for the waterfowl hunting enthusiast of any age, with "hands on" activity areas where you can see the latest techniques, try the latest in outdoor products, learn and talk with industry experts.

The WHE will feature several contests including a fastest retriever contest, the art competition for the 2022 Wisconsin pheasant, turkey, and waterfowl stamps, and the 2021 Wisconsin State Duck and Goose calling contest. Unique exhibitions positioned throughout the event grounds will encourage waterfowlers from Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest to gather and share their waterfowling “know how” and swap stories. Stages will hold conservation and educational seminars with outdoor demonstrations hosted in activity green spaces, together delivering an impressive “knowledge share” by industry experts in everything from dog training to waterfowl research, conservation and hunting history.
