The music of "Small Potatoes" is the second of three FREE concerts being presented in Monroe Arts Center's Summer of Music concert series. "Small Potatoes" is the Chicago-based folk duo of Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso. They have been performing locally and nationally for 20 years, playing everywhere from living room concerts to large festival stages for audiences of all ages. They say it has taken them years of careful indecision to develop a repertoire they describe as "Celtic to Cowboy." Superb musicianship and showmanship, award-winning songwriting, and a strong sense of tradition has made them "one of the most polished, inventive, and entertaining shows on the circuit." (Dirty Linen Magazine).

Their performances are more than just music--they include stories and humor and easily engage audiences. While most of their performances feature original music, they also feature some country or rock classics, as well as popular Irish tunes.

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be presented in MAC's Gunderson Stiles Concert Hall.
