The Choral Institute is a beloved tradition at Green Lake Festival of Music and welcomes anyone who loves to sing! This festival chorus performs a variety of pieces from throughout the choral repertory. This year’s theme is “Heavenly Music,” and the repertoire includes not only Schubert’s lovely Mass in G to be performed with professional soloists and orchestra, but also music that contemplates humanity’s place within the cosmos. The Choral Institute will perform Elaine Hagenberg’s The Music of Stillness and spend time with her in rehearsal.
