THELMA presents Ruby James who has been rocking dance halls all across the nation as half of the duo that started the R&B, new vintage ensemble of WiFEE and THE HuZz BAND. Prior to becoming WiFEE, James was an established solo artist who toured the country in and generated four solo albums since 2007. James is returning to THELMA as a solo artist showcasing material from her past releases. Her music ranges from the acoustic feel of “Sweet As Sin,” “Desert Rose” and “Happy Now” to the rock and edgy sounds of “Voodoo Queen.” Ruby James carries a soulful, sweet sound while simultaneously being bold and commanding. Her musical range carries from Americana to Blues, to Rock-n-roll. Band members that will be joining James include Melaniejane on Cello, Greg Roteik on Bass, Azch Vogel on Guitar, Matt Spatol on Keys, and Rob Gay on Drums.
