Porta Potty Races

Experience the thrill of winter at our annual fundraising event hosted at The Smiling Moose in Newton. Picture this: homemade porta potties gliding gracefully across the icy terrain, defying the chill and bringing warmth to the season. For those new to the exhilarating world of porta-potty racing, imagine lavatories on skis with three walls and a toilet seat, each uniquely designed for the ultimate slip-and-slide strategy.

Participants craft their own racing loos, transforming portable necessities into race-ready structures. Behind the wheel (or on the seat) of each daring contraption is a fearless "driver," navigating the course with nerves of steel, even though control is merely a pipe dream.The real spectacle unfolds as racing teams, made up of 3-5 members, showcase impressive athleticism and balance, pushing their inventive porta potties 30 yards to triumphantly cross the finish line. Racing an outhouse is no small feat!

Our event provides fuel all day long, serving food, drinks, raffles, and family fun! Together, let's warm up a chilly day with heartfelt celebrations, all in aid of advancing our nonprofit's crucial mission.
