Reedsburg ButterFest

The City of Reedsburg was honored to be the "Butter Capital of the America" in the late sixties, seventies and into the eighties, when Reedsburg had a milk plant that produced more butter than any other place in the country.  As a result, the Butter Festival was born and it is one of the great traditions of Reedsburg. 

It is an old-fashioned, five-day festival featuring a carnival and concessions, the crowning of the Butterfest King & Queen and Little Miss Butterfest, a craft and vendor bazaar, a pie-baking contest, a kids' pedal tractor pull, Family Farm Fun Night, live music in the beer tent, an ATV / UTV Show and Shine, a Saturday parade, and a famous chicken barbecue on Sunday! This festival offers great fun for all ages!
