Run for a Vet and July 4th Celebration

Mercer’s Independence Day Celebration starts early, at 7am, Race starts at 8:00am, with the Run for a Vet 5K and 1 mile walk on the Mecca trails. Parade Line Up at 10:00 with Parade Kick-Off at 11:00am thru Downtown Mercer. Fun in the Park starts at 2:00pm at Carow Park. Food/Beer/Soda are offered throughout the afternoon and evening. At dusk a spectacular firework display over Grand Portage Lake! Restrooms, volley ball, basketball, swing set, jungle gym and swimming available at Carow Park.
