Tradition and modern innovation are melded in these resourceful competitions. Combined Driving is one of eight equine sports governed at the international level. We are pleased to host this preliminary championship at Hickory Knoll Farm. Spectators are welcome! Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Site is handicap accessible. 

Friday: Driven Dressage in two rings.  Horse compete to master a required set of movements, which get more difficult as the levels rise form Training to Preliminary and Intermediate.

Saturday: Marathon - Horse compete in a cross-country drive, a timed walk, and in a final phase, a speed trail over 7km.  "obstacles" with lettered gates that have to be driven quickly to avoid time penalties.  Spectator seating and tents for shade are provided at two of the Obstacles, but spectators can walk to all six.

Sunday: Cones-Horse compete against the clock and each other to navigate a tight course laid out between cones with balls on top, trying to avoid dislodging any balls. The three different levels have different clearances to test the accuracy of the drivers.
