Arbor Ridge Trail Race
This event has expired. This may be a recurring event, so please check the calendar in the future for updated occurrences.
The 2nd annual Arbor Ridge Trail Race follows Wisconsin's iconic Ice Age Trail through the secluded and serene Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum. Race a 5k, 8k or 16k route through heavily-shaded forest, over roots and rocks, around a flowering meadow, and along a meandering stream. The mostly single-track Arbor Ridge Trail offers some challenging climbs and rewarding downhills. The race is open to competitive and recreational runners of all ages, with a free 1K fun run for the kids. A portion of race proceeds will go to the Ice Age Trail Alliance. Don't miss the early packet pickup at Rock County Brewing Company in downtown Janesville and post-race party with live music by the Glacial Drifters Band at the Arboretum.
