Stoughton Coffee Break Festival

Did you know Stoughton is the birthplace of the coffee break? It’s true! Back in 1880, Stoughton’s Coffee Street was bustling, and the largely Norwegian community made time each day for a hot cup of coffee between meals. With a pot always on the stove and daily life keeping everyone busy, taking a few minutes to relax with coffee became a tradition.

Today, the Coffee Break Festival celebrates that tradition, which is held on the third Saturday in August, with a Coffee Brew-Off, Cup O' Joe All Wheels Show, Arts and Crafts, and More!
