Sweet Rides & Sweet Pies

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, the Westby Area Historical Society will hold the 10th annual Sweet Rides & Sweet Pies homemade pie with ice cream and car show fundraiser. This family-friendly, free event will be open to attendees from 10 am - 3 pm.

Vehicle registration on July 26 will be from 8:30 - noon, but online registration is now open to avoid expected long lines on the day of the event.

We are very excited that Dennis Gage of the "My Classic Car" TV show will be the special guest for this event. The Opening Ceremony will start at 11 am and include the dedication of the Westby Main Street Construction Project with comments from special state government and local dignitaries. The event will award more than 70 prizes to registered vehicles starting at 2:30 and include raffles for two children's pedal cars and toys, and a 50/50 drawing with other prizes for adults. Winners must be present when tickets are drawn.

The US Strongman will again hold the Uff Da Challenge using car parts and vehicles in the competition. There will be free tours of the Thoreson House Museum, face painting, and a fire truck for kids to explore. In addition to pie and ice cream, there will be food, vendors, and crafts as part of the event. All attendees are encouraged to vote for the special "People's Choice" award.

Off-site parking will be available at Nordic Lanes and the Westby Business Park on Hwy 27, where a "people hauler" will bring you to the event. Sweet Rides & Sweet Pies is located at 111 N.
