Third Friday Featuring James Shulkin: “Celebrating the Feminine Spirit”

Art Hub is THRILLED to WELCOME JAMES SHULKIN to our THIRD FRIDAY EXHIBIT! It’s like nothing we have had before.

There’s a lot going on in his one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces. Inspired by the beauty, strength, warmth, resilience and joy of women and nature, he brings those ideas to life using insulation foam, handmade paper, fabric, ribbon, yarn, botanicals, feathers, paint, found objects and just about anything else that helps tell the story. Each piece is finished with an uplifting or empowering message, adding another layer of meaning to these colorful and wonderfully unexpected creations.

A self-taught artist living in Madison, he has been making art for years and has explored everything from painted furniture and floor cloths to driftwood assemblages and garden windmills.
