Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse Tours
425 Maritime Dr. - Manitowoc, WI 54221
The Manitowoc Breakwater Lighthouse has guarded the harbor of Manitowoc, WI since 1918. The Lighthouse is privately owned by Mr. Phil Carlucci of Long Island, New York. With his support, the Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary Club has spent the last several years carefully renovating and restoring the structure’s historic appearance. Now, in 2025, the Wisconsin Maritime Museum is both honored and pleased to be able to assist with the interpretation and preservation of this storied beacon in our home harbor.
Group tours are now being offered to see inside the lighthouse and experience its history. Guests can see the 5 levels of the lighthouse and read about it's history from the exhibits on the walls. Advanced tickets are required and can be purchased in person at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum or online. Free parking is at Lighthouse Park, where the tour starts.
