U.S. Crokicurl Championship 2026

The United States Crokicurl Championship will take place at Front Porch Plaza in River Prairie Park. Teams of two players, ages 16 and up, are welcome to participate. The tournament is limited to 16 teams, and the start time will be determined by the number of registered teams. Registration closes Thursday, January 21, at noon. In the event of inclement weather, the tournament will be rescheduled.

Crokicurl combines the precision of curling with the strategy of the Canadian board game Crokinole. In Crokinole, players flick discs into scoring rings, aiming to outscore their opponents by landing discs near the center. Curling involves sliding stones toward the center of a target while attempting to knock opponents’ stones out of position. By combining elements of both games, Canadians created Crokicurl, a fun and competitive winter activity.

River Prairie is proud to be the first place in the United States where visitors can experience Crokicurl for themselves.
