The Dodge County Center for the Arts (DCCA) is thrilled to announce its upcoming exhibition for the 2024 season. Titled "When Words Become Art," this captivating showcase features the exceptional talent of artists Tami Joe DeLisle and Jill Wagner. The exhibition aims to explore the connection between artists, narratives, and different artistic mediums, offering visitors a thought-provoking experience.
"When Words Become Art" delves into the profound notion of transcending linguistic boundaries to evoke deep emotional responses. This collection presents a connection between artists, between stories, and between media. Each image illustrates experiences to move us beyond words and into emotion. Seek to encounter a deeper understanding of the importance of seeing another.
Tami Joe DeLisle, the founder of UnMasked Expressive Therapies in Beaver Dam and a licensed art therapist, has teamed up with her friend, photographer and writer Jill Wagner to craft a captivating collaboration that has flourished over the past two decades.
The DCCA invites the public to attend the opening reception on February 10th, from 1-3 pm, where they can meet the artists and gain insights into their creative processes. The Dodge County Center for the Arts admission is always free and open to the public.
