Rhinelander Brewing Company

Rhinelander Brewing Company opened their local taproom April of 2018, and is continually growing and changing in order to better serve their growing fanbase.

The taproom has 14 beers on tap, about half of which are brewed right on site in their microbrewery. They now make over 50 varieties of beer, including barrel aged beers. The locally brewed “Hodag” beer menu is ever-changing, offering a new experience with every visit. The other half of the menu offers mainstay beers brewed out of their larger sister facility in Monroe, WI. These include the staple Rhinelander Lager and Rhinelander Light, and ever popular Hard Root Beer.

There are many ways to take home your favorite brews, including a large selection of packaged beers and hard sodas, growler and howler fills, and Crowlers.

Within the taproom, there is a gift shop area with a large selection of Rhinelander Brewery branded clothing and other gift items. As you explore the taproom, notice the collection of vintage “Shorty” prints that line the walls, and check out the museum case, with memorabilia and history about the original brewery. Take a brewery tour for a more in depth history, guided tasting, and take home gift pack.

Family-style seating, board games, free popcorn, sweet and savory snack options and a selection of non-alcoholic sodas make this location family and large group friendly. Well-behaved, leashed dogs also welcome. There is no kitchen, but outside food carry-ins are welcome. There is a limited amount of outdoor seating available, weather permitting.
