About Apfelhaus Cidery
Perched on a hill overlooking Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands, Apfelhaus Ciders is part of a historic orchard that includes heirloom apple trees planted more than 100 years ago. The farm is cared for by the family's fifth generation, continuing a long-standing tradition rooted in the land.
Cider is produced in small batches using fruit grown, picked, pressed, and fermented at the farm. The operation is powered by renewable solar energy, reflecting a commitment to thoughtful stewardship of the land.
The result is a cider that captures the character of the orchard, the surrounding landscape, and the family heritage behind it.
