The 3,000-acre Point Beach State Forest features 17 miles of hiking trails ranging from a half-mile to more than 7 miles long. There are also 6 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline to explore and a segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. A popular feature within the property is the Rawley Point Lighthouse, which has been operated and maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard since 1853. A vehicle admission sticker is required to visit state park system properties which can be purchased online or onsite.
