The Carlin House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places was donated to the Palymyra Historical Society in 1981 by Fisk Carlin. It has an unusual grout construction that can be seen in an exposed wall on the second floor. Many of the furnishings and artifacts are from the Carlin collection. The Turner Museum added to the house in 1998, contains a display room with changing exhibits, and gift shop.
