Visit the childhood home of Sterling North, one of America's great novelists. North, an Edgerton-native who lived from 1906 to 1974, wrote classics such as "So Dear to My Heart," "The Wolfling," and the autobiographical "Rascal" which details North's life raising a raccoon, the titular character. "Rascal" and "So Dear to My Heart" both were adapted to films by Walt Disney. Guided group and self-guided individual tours of North's home are offered.
