Green Innovations

  • A recycling program is in place that involved the participation of both employees and visitors. Reusable goods, such as glasses and food service items in rooms, are used rather than disposable. Products are purchased in bulk and/or concentrate.
  • Lighting is timed and/or sensor sensitive, and energy efficient light bulbs are used. Computers, monitors, and other small appliances, such as coffee machines, are turned off when not in use. ENERGY STAR qualified appliances are used.
  • Bicycle rental through a local company is offered. Special products are offered through local businesses rather than franchises. Business supports local community activities as well, such as Rotary, Angel Museum, and Riverfest
