Maxwell Mansion
Maxwell Mansion 1856 was the first mansion built in Lake Geneva and has long been host to dignitaries and socialites throughout its history. The entire estate along with all its buildings have undergone a complete metamorphosis retaining its original character yet exploding with excitement of the new, the unique and the unexpected. Located two blocks East of the lake you will find the Maxwell Estate, nestled among century old oaks, beautiful gardens, lounges, outdoor fireplaces, a heated pool, croquet and bocce ball amusement. The Historic Mansion offers five traditional style rooms with exquisite antiques, en-suite baths and old world sophistication, while the Carriage House & Stable Suites are much more modern and dramatically designed with an equestrian “urBarn” (urban/barn) style with unique furnishings, sleek accents and reclaimed Wisconsin barn finishes.Members' Speakeasy at Maxwell Mansion.
