The site of a Korean War memorial, this wayside is located along the POW/MIA Memorial Highway (Hwy. 13) and the South Fork of the Flambeau River and offers shore fishing and a boat landing as well as a picnic area, well for water, restroom facility, and a large parking area that can accommodate trucks with boat trailers. Located nearby is the historic Freedom's Bridge, a remembrance of the bridge in Korea crossed by prisoners of war on their way to freedom.
