Janesville Parks
As Wisconsin's Park Place, Janesville is all about the outdoors. Take advantage of over 60 improved parks and 30 miles of paved, off-road trails including the southern-most segment of Wisconsin's Ice Age Trail.
Parks are divided into categories that include: regional parks, community parks, neighborhood parks, greenbelts and open spaces. The various parks include an arboretum, Lion's Beach, outdoor swimming at Rockport Pool, the Palmer Park wading pool, Riverside's splash pad, tennis courts, a Youth Sports Complex with baseball, softball, football and soccer fields, sledding hills, ten miles of cross-country ski trails, 30 miles of paved bike trails, and picnic pavilions.
Palmer Park offers an accessible playground (CAMDEN). Rockport Park also has a large accessible playground with a theme of Peace, while Bond Park is home to a skate park.
Pets are allowed in the parks from September 16 through May 14.
