The crown jewel of Beloit is Riverside Park, located on the banks of the Rock River. The park buzzes with activity all year, but it really comes alive during summer with Music at Harry's on Friday nights and Dancin' at Harry's on Monday nights along with a Fourth of July celebration. In addition, this 23-acre park is home to famous Turtle Island II Playground; Beloit River Walk, a 3.5 mile paved walk-bike path around the Rock River; the Harry C. Moore Pavilion and the Rotary River Center. Paddle boats and tandem bicycles are available for rent. The park also features fishing, two picnic shelters, play equipment, lighted tennis courts, concessions and restrooms. Free Admission.

  • Friends of Riverfront are actively rehabilitating the Shore line restoration with native plants and grasses along lagoon on the Beloit River.
  • Friends of Riverfront uses organic fertilizers and products in landscaping planters and areas that need soil enrichment.
  • Friends of Riverfront  purchases food products such as produce, meat, and dairy from local ,  local farmers’ markets, and CSA programs.
  • Friends of Riverfront  uses paper products, that contain a minimum 30% post-consumer recycled content.
