Lakes and Cityscapes – Madison
Wisconsin’s storied isthmus is a convergence of urban and natural elements. Marketing Director Shane Brossard recalls boating with his family to the Memorial Union Terrace and dropping anchor awhile for food, live music, and the equally picturesque lake and skyline views. Madison also is home to the largest producer-only farmers market in the nation. For six evenings during the summer, spread a blanket out on the grounds of Capitol Square for concerts by the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. At the 1,260-acre University of Wisconsin—Madison Arboretum tucked into a vibrant metropolitan area, you’ll find free admission to the oldest and most extensive collection of restored ecosystems in the world.
