One of Manitowoc's largest and most wooded parks is Camp Vits, a 76-acre public park managed by Manitowoc Parks and Recreation. Nature enthusiasts will not want to miss this one!

Camp Vits' trails are perfect for hiking and mountain biking any time of the year. The thickly wooded area provides ample shade for hot, summer days, and the winter allows for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

The trailhead to Camp Vits can be found to the north of the intersection of Parkview Road and Custer St. Parking is free and restrooms are available. Another entrance to the park is at the intersection of Parkview Rd and Middle Rd.
