Great for a truly natural experience. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest while horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and fat biking along this hardwood and hemlock-lined forest trail. The trail is not groomed for cross-country skiing. A historic logging dam and walking trail with interpretive signs are at the site. The trail is located within the 3,600-acre Round Lake Semi-Primitive Non-motorized Area. A National Forest parking fee is required. The daily fee can be paid at the trailhead. An annual sticker can be purchased at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest at the office at 1170 S. 4th Avenue / Highway 13 in Park Falls or online.
