The Interurban Recreation Trail is a planned 11-mile recreation trail between Oconomowoc and Watertown, built on an old Rail Corridorowned by WE Energies.   The Interurban Trail is currently open with Phase I and II completed from Watertown to Ixonia.  A total of 7 miles of paved bike trail were completed and opened to the public in the fall of 2022. 

The third and final phase of the project is currently in engineering and design with planned completion in fall of 2025.  Phase III includes a second recreation bridge over the Rock River, and an additional 3 miles of paved trail.
