The Burlington Historical Society of Burlington, Wisconsin, was established in February 1928 to collect and preserve historical records and artifacts pertaining to the Burlington area. It was the first historical society in Racine County. The Society is a private, not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. The small but informative museum showcases interesting artifacts from Burlington's past. Learn about the men and women who served during the Civil War, World War I, World War II, and more. Find out how a tiny settlement in the early 1800s grew into a city of 10,000+ inhabitants.
