Door County Historical Museum

Visit the "Best Small Museum in the Midwest" as named by the Chicago Tribune. Educational displays portray Door County's unique history including the early settlers, orchards, industries, and much more. The "Seasons of Life" wildlife diorama features over 100 native species. The family-friendly Pioneer Fire Station showcases historic fire trucks and a hands-on jail cell.

The Door County Historical Museum is located on the corner of Michigan Street and 4th Avenue in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Parking is available along the street and at two public parking lots located nearby.
